Hello Scouts and Parents!
And just like that, spring is upon us—it’s time to register for summer camp. We will attend Camp Pipsico on the James River in the Tidewater Council (57 Pipsico Rd, Spring Grove, VA 23881) during Week 5: July 12–18.
There is a $20 early bird discount for registrations submitted and paid by April 13th. (The normal price this year is $445 per scout.) For more details, visit the camp website: https://pipsicobsa.com/summer-
This camp offers a very wide selection of merit badges, including a strong focus on waterfront and scuba activities! They also offer a program for first-year scouts called Huskanaw, which helps accelerate requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks. This program is highly encouraged.

We have spots reserved for 75 boys and 25 girls. These will fill up fast! I can get more spots, but only once these are filled. This camp sold out last year around May 1st. Space is limited to 18 adults. Adults must be registered with the troop as an ASM or Committee Head. All training must be complete before registration can be finalized.

Troop 682 camped at Camp Olmsted. We are going on 7/20 to 7/20.
This year, Troop 682 camped at Camp Bowman.
This was the first time that Troop 682 camped at Camp Freedom.
This was the first time that Troop 682 visited Camp Marriott. Scouts enjoyed eating food at their campsite, participating in aquatic activities, and completing over 200 Merit Badges.
In 2021, Troop 682 visited Camp Olmstead, in the Goshen Scout Reservation. We earned over 60 merit badges during the week-long excursion. Troop 682 brought 85 scouts and adults to Olmstead, making our troop the largest group to arrive at Goshen during 2021!
