As one of the longest running troops in the Chantilly area, we have served over 700 scouts. We look forward to seeing you in our Troop Meetings!
Our Mission
The Scouting Program is committed to creating the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and successful scouts. We strive to build scouts that make ethical decisions, founded on the Scout Oath and Law.
Who We Are
Troop 682 is comprised of a male troop (682B) and a female troop (682G). 682 has a combined 130 scouts and over 75 dedicated adult leaders. Our team is focused towards helping every Scout pursue the “Aims of Scouting.“
To Join (or Visit!)
To join/visit Troop 682, please contact Scoutmaster Rich Kay here. For further information, refer to the Troop 682 Introduction Sheet.

Our troop is the most experienced in the region.
Our troop has been active since 1990, one of the longest in the Chantilly region. We have served hundreds of scouts, and have developed a unique culture within our troop. Our troop enjoys being outdoors, giving back to the community through service hours, and empowering scouts to reach the prestigious rank of eagle. We look forward to watching your Scout grow under Troop 682!
